This is a map of villages lying to the West of Andover.I have centred it on Monxton as this is my home.
AMPORT. A large village with school,church and inn,also Amport House built in 1857,today home of the Royal Air Force's Chaplains School.
GRATELEY. A 'double' parish, one part of the village situated near the church and school,the other part to the West near the railway station.
MONXTON. A delightful village,many of the homes have thatched roofs.Features of the village include the church, Pillhill brook and many beautiful gardens.
QUARLEY. Set in the shadow of Quarley Hill the village is home to a quait Saxon church.
